Bergman Real Estate Group’s Leasing Activity Remains Strong at Metropark’s 510 Thornall Street in Edison, N.J.

Four Long-term Leases Recently Secured in Commuter Office Park

ISELIN, N.J. (July 10, 2009) – Bergman Real Estate Group, a privately owned real estate investment firm that owns and manages office properties throughout New Jersey, recently announced a new long-term lease, two lease renewals and a lease expansion and extension at 510 Thornall Street in Edison, N.J.

510 Thornall Street, a three-story, 65,000-square-foot Class-A building that offers convenient access to the Garden State Parkway, New Jersey Turnpike and Route 1, is also one of the closest office buildings to public transportation in central New Jersey. Within walking distance from the Metropark Train Station, which is served by Amtrak and New Jersey Transit trains on the Northeast Corridor Line, New York City’s Penn Station is only 30 minutes away by rail.

Choice Home Warranty, a company that provides comprehensive protection plans on home systems and appliances, signed a long-term lease for 3,300 square feet of office space in the building. Choice Home Warranty was represented by John Goodwin of CB Richard Ellis’s East Brunswick office.

Allstate Insurance Company, one of the nation’s largest publicly held personal insurer, renewed their lease for 8,283 square feet of office space in the building. Allstate was represented by Ed DaCosta of CB Richard Ellis’s East Brunswick office. Datamatics Global Services, Inc., an information technology and business process outsourcing company, also renewed their lease for 1,343 square feet of office space in the building.

Dome-Tech, Inc., a United Technologies company and world-class energy engineering and professional consulting services firm, extended and expanded their lease for 12,000 square feet of office space in the building. Dome-Tech was represented by Jeremy Neuer, Michael A. Gordon and Joseph Sarno of Cushman & Wakefield.
